Additional Information
Only two steps exist to the certification.

Step One
Pass a two-hour, written qualification exam which then enables the candidate to book for Step two. This exam covers networking concepts and some equipment commands

Step Two
Attend and pass a one day eight-hour practical lab exam (there are only 8 locations worldwide) your ability to configure and troubleshoot actual equipment and get the network running in a timed test situation. You must pass the lab within three years of passing the written to achieve certification. Your first lab attempt must be made within 18 months.
