Cisco 360 Training Programme

Introduction
Our unique Cisco 360 training programme has taken NCAT over 10 years to develop and has been built by listening to feedback from our customers. Whilst other training alternatives exist none provide such a comprehensive training package supporting our customers every step of the way to career and exam success.

  1. Practical Hands-on Training
A vitally important part of training is the hands-on practicals labs. We understand this and ensure our practical labs start simply and build in complexity gradually introducing problems to improve troubleshooting skills. Delegates who finish labs ahead of others are offered additional tasks instead of being idle which increases pressure on other delegates whilst also improving their own skills. Ensuring that all delegates are fully challenged in a structured environment

  2. Modern Equipment
NCAT use modern Cisco equipment in all our training courses. However, others still use old legacy equipment which use different configuration commands (very confusing) and do not support the current exam objectives. For examples, 2500 or 2600 routers or 2900XL switches.

  3. FREE Practice Equipment
An important part of learning is practice not just during the course but also after it. NCAT provide a free Practice Lab available 24 x 7, equipped with the latest modern Cisco hardware all cabled and ready to go with Ethernet, Serial and Frame Relay enabling delegates hassle free studying for CCNA, CCNP and CCIE

  4. FREE Practice Lab Guides
Free modern equipment to practice on is one thing but we additionally we also supply a FREE Practical Lab Guides. These guides start simply and grow in complexity challenging delegates to troubleshoot real network problems. All guides are also supplied with an answer sheet!

  5. Real Equipment
Simulations, are just that. NCAT training is greatly enhanced by the use of real equipment. For example, cables can be disconnected to check how real networks will respond.

  6. Remote Lab's
It's difficult to visualise and configure equipment that's invisible. At NCAT equipment is located with the delegate during training allowing experimentation if desired. Not centrally located for the convenience of the training company

  7. Course Manual and Practical Lab Guides
A comprehensive course manual and practical lab guide developed over 10 years ensures even the most difficult subjects are a breeze. This structure ensures delegates absorb information easily

  8. FREE Cisco Press Books
In addition to the course manual and practical lab guide delegates also receive a free Cisco Press book making the idea study combination

  9. Length of Course
Some training companies offer ‘fasttrack’ or ‘bootcamp’ training. This style of course compresses training into as little as 5 - 6 days. Delegates often find topics rushed, practical hands-on lab's reduced or cut and all and therefore difficult to 'keep up' with the pace of the course.

  10. Class Size
Smaller class sizes ensures that each delegate receives individual attention ensuring that no one is left behind. For CCNA courses we have a maximum of 10 delegates and 8 for the professional and other courses.

  11. FREE Exam Questions
To ensure delegates are fully prepared for exams we also supply a Cisco Press CD with hundred of exam questions

  12. Exam Guarantee
Any reputable training company should provide a certification exam guarantee

  13. Equipment Sharing
Each delegate should have their own switch and router. Watching someone else type is not very interesting! Individual equipment also enables students to work at their own pace and make their own mistakes (an important part of learning)

  14. Experienced Instructors
All training companies claim to have experienced instructors, well they would. It's all relative. NCAT instructors are fully Cisco certified and have all been delivering Cisco Training for over 10 years. Not just the foundation CCNA courses but also the more advanced CCNP courses ensuring all your questions are fully answered. Our Instructors also have extensive practical field experience installing and troubleshooting networks. These experiences not only make the training more relevant but also enable Instructors to pass on many tips not in the books

  15. Post Course Support
Whilst studying for exams delegates often have questions which only come to light after the training, hence the need for 'Post Course Support'. Just email of phone us with your questions.
