Real World Pix and ASA Devices

This course is intended for people who install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot PIX and ASA Devices as part of their job.

The course takes a practical hands-on approach to solving common problems

 

 

This four-day instructor led course takes a
task-orientated approach in teaching the skills to configure, operate, manage and troubleshoot both Cisco PIX 500 Firewalls and Cisco ASA 5500 Series Adaptive Security Appliances.

With some additional study the SNPA exam could be taken. However certification is not the main course objective. If certification is required view ccsp for more information

Course Pre-Requisites
Delegates should meet the following prerequisites:
  • Experience in configuring Cisco products equivalent to CCNA level of knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating system
  • Familiarity with networking terms and concepts
